1. What should I use to wash my lingerie and delicate underwear?
Use a specialist lingerie detergent designed for intricate lace, silk, spandex and delicate fabrics, not regular laundry liquid. Bon Savvy’s Number 4 Luxury Lingerie & Delicates Wash is pH-neutral, plant-based, and completely devoid of harsh chemicals, so it's specifically designed to gently clean and naturally soften while preserving fabric strength, elasticity, and scent.
2. Can I use regular detergent on lingerie or delicate lace underwear?
It’s best not to. Regular detergents often contain harsh surfactants and optical brighteners that can weaken fine fibres, fade colour, and irritate skin. A gentle formula like Bon Savvy Number 4 safely removes body oils and sweat without damaging delicate fabrics.
How do I wash lingerie to make it last longer?
Hand-wash in cool or lukewarm water using a small amount (about 7 ml to 15 ml - our caps are 7ml's for ease of measuring) of Number 4 Luxury Lingerie Wash. Gently agitate for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Press (don’t wring) excess water and air-dry flat or hang in shade. This protects lace, silk, satin, and mesh while keeping them soft and lightly scented.
Is Bon Savvy Lingerie Wash safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. It’s hypoallergenic, gentle, made with naturally derived and cosmetic grade fragrance which is especially kind to sensitive skin, vegan ingredients and free from sulphates, synthetic dyes, or animal testing. For best results, we recommend hand washing your wool and delicate items in cold water. Pre-treat stains with Stain Savvy laundry stick. If machine washing, we
recommend you use the delicate/gentle setting and insert your item into a Wash Savvy (delicates) laundry bag for extra protection. For your convenience use the bottle cap for measuring. We recommend using one capful for each machine load. Each cap is equivalent to 7.5 ml.

HOW MUCH DO I USE TO HAND WASH MY SILK PILLOWCASE?
Silk Savvy is ingeniously curated with high performing plant-based ingredients that are highly concentrated, pure & powerful. This means you only need a small amount to effectively clean and carefully preserve your pillowcase. For example, in a bucket with 4 litres of water you only need half to one capful. YOUR STAIN REMOVAL STICKS ARE INCREDIBLE MULTI TASKERS, ARE THEY ALSO SUITABLE FOR REMOVING STAINS FROM UPHOLSTERY?
Yes they can! Our stain sticks are without doubt the everyday living essential every home needs! Aside from using them to spot treat stains prior to washing or as a handy interim stain remover on the go, you can indeed use them to also treat stains on fabric upholstery.
They can also be used on other non-fabric services. We have used them to clean white sneakers, remove food stains from kitchen benches and they are especially handy in removing red wine spills off the couch. Always patch test first to ensure the material is not adversely affected.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO WASH MY LINEN SHEETS?
Linen sheets can be machine washed. We recommend washing them in cold to warm water on a gentle/delicate cycle and using our Linen Savvy Specialist laundry liquid or alternatively our Signature Laundry Liquid.
